I think i want to do something in journalism so do I still need to take physics to get into a top college?

A well-rounded education in all the disciplines is desirable. No, it’s not necessary, but then again there are some special things that certain colleges do but you can look more into it on the admissions requirements and whatnot on the college’s websites.

It is preferred though to take a year at least of all the three main sciences (bio, chem, phys) because you are a more well-rounded applicant.

It depends on a few things. Do you already have a lot of science credits? Are you strong in the sciences?

If science is not your forte and you already have enough science credits, you may be better off skipping it. If you really like it, by all means take it.

I’ve taken bio and chem so far. I didn’t mind chem but science definitely isn’t my thing. Its either physics (which i hear horrible things about the teacher) or chem 2 but i don’t want not taking physics to screw up my admission chances or anything
