Do I need sat 2 to apply to early decision for ivy leagues?

Yes, someone please answer that.

If I am not mistaken, you can take SAT exams up until the November test dates and have them directly sent to your college before decisions.

Yes, you must take subject tests. Specific deadlines are available on each school’s website, but at the ones my D is applying to, for ED/EA deadlines you can take SAT or subject tests as late as the Nov sittings. In that case, you will not have the opportunity to see your results and decide what to send, but will have to direct them to the ED/EA school on test day.

Each university and sometimes college within the universities is different. Go to each school’s website and check its requirements.

Depends on the school; check the websites.

October test should have no problem. November test would depend on the school. It may be late for some. You do need SAT2 if the school requires it no matter you apply ED/EA/RD.
