Do I need to complete all courses on assist.org?

Hi everyone :)

I'm a community college freshman this year (El Camino College), and I'm planning on transferring to CSULB for the Liberal Studies major with ITEP. There's a total of 63 units I have to take, and I've only completed 4 (I had to take pre-reqs last semester). This semester, I'm taking 12 of the units required, so that leaves me with 47 units still to take! So if I DO have to take all of them, I'll be here for at least another 2 years (because you can't transfer during Spring).

SO- do I really have to take all of these courses before I transfer?

Also, on a side note, is a 3.7 GPA good for transfering to a CSU, if anyone knows off the top of their head :)

Thanks!

Anyone? :p

You can apply before completing 60+ units, but you have a better chance of getting in if you have all your lower div classes done. (So say my friends who attended CC and transferred.)

You need 60 total units before you qualify for transfers. You also don’t need to complete everything on the assist.org page. 3.7 is fine, SLO would be a stretch but you’ll be fine for the other CSU’s (assuming you still have a 3.7 once you get 60 units.)
