I entered my dad's income for 2009 as 491, when it was actually 459 (he TOLD me 491). Do I need to correct my FAFSA? If I do, then will that delay or possibly jeopardize my aid?

If the numbers were wrong according to the day you entered them, then yes, you should make a correction. No, it shouldn’t jepordize your chances at all unless your school has a deadline that you’ve passed. Even so, you should correct it.

Your income numbers on the FAFSA need to reflect the numbers on your COMPLETED 2009 tax returns. So…if you made an error, just correct it. If you haven’t yet completed your taxes…complete them…then make the change.
