I am applying as either I biomedical or chemical engineer, my stats are
SAT: 1550/2310
SAT II: Math II:800, US History: 800
Other: My grades are very good, and I have a lot of EC and leadership. Also I am a double legacy (sister went to undergrad, dad went to grad)

My question is whether I should take one more SAT II, because three are recommended. It would be in bio, and I am just worried that it won't be as great since I am taking the class this year. So do you think I am good now or is a science SAT necessary, or does it depend on whether or not I choice to do biomed (since it is so much more competitive)?

Thanks.

You look like a shoe in. I’d relax a bit and enjoy the rest of the school year.

While you seem to be in a very good position, the fact that you are asking if you have to do more suggests that you are willing to do things you’re not particularly passionate about to get into a top school.

No, sorry that is not what I meant at all. I was just asking if it was worth risking I potential lower science SAT II score becuase science might be expected for an engineer, or should I just stop now with what I have?

That was all, sry for the confusion.

There is no official advantage nor disadvantage to submitting SAT II subject exam scores. It is the choice of each individual student whether they want to submit SAT II subject exam scores and how many exams they want to submit. However, we want applicants to consider our recommendations as strong recommendations, therefore submitting SAT II scores will make a difference in the application review. There is no way to predict whether submitting scores will impact the review of the application positively or negatively, as they are part of the comprehensive review of an applicant’s file.
