I am an international student and i want to study in Canada.Do i need to give SAT as far as i
know the Universities look only at the percentage.
I also have percentage system here just like it is there in Canada but i am not sure that whether i have to give SAT or not?

It really depends on the university and the country you’re from. I’m pretty sure most “top-tier” universities require Americans to submit SAT scores, but many don’t require them from students in other countries. Look through the international admissions sections of the universities’ websites to find out more.

@ OrchidBloom thanks for the reply. I looked to the international admissions sections of some Universities and found out that i don’t require to give SAT only.
Right now i got 87% in 10th grade. I want to study in UOFT, Waterloo, McMaster and Ryerson. I found out that Waterloo starts individual selection from the low-90s for mechanical engineering, from the high-80s for electrical engineering .
Do you think that i have a chance getting accepted there or in any other University as mentioned above if i maintain my percentage till grade 12?

Have you taken any SAT practice tests? Even if it’s not required, taking the SAT might help make your application more solid if you get a good score.
