do i need to go to a good undergraduate school to get into a top grad school?

Do grad schools (law and business schools in particular) look at the undergrad college you went to? or is it more gpa focused?

Much more important to do well in a school than what school you previously attended.

If you have intentions to attend a top graduate school, say ranked in at least top 50 or even 100… attending a well known and respected undergraduate university will only help.

Yes it will help, but there’s countless even on this site who went to a community college and then transferred to an Ivy.

Most schools are very well respected, so as long as you do well, it shouldn’t be a problem.
