Do I need to let the UCI know if I choose not to take an AP test that I reported I would take?

So I later realized that because I passed AP Eng Lang., I don't really have to take AP Lit because it's pretty pointless. I didn't know this prior so I intended to take it but then all my friends were telling me that it's not necessary. Plus I'm already taking 5 so I didn't want to add more stress...Point is though, do I need to let them know that I'm not taking it? Or can I just leave it alone?
Also I didn't report my AP chem score and bio score (2 and 3 respectively) will that cause them to rescind my acceptance?

Yes. People have gotten their admissions rescinded before by dropping a class or not taking an AP that they claimed to be taking. You probably should ask the college about withholding your score.

^that isn’t true. You don’t have to take the AP exam if you don’t want to. Dropping a class is different.

I didn’t pay for the test so I’m not even able to take it if I wanted to. Should I just msg my admissions counselor>
