Do I need to noticy UC's if I'm taking a suprise sat in december?

I just decided to take an sat subject test in december but didn’t notify the UC’s of this. Do I need to notify them that I’m taking a subject test?

They will find out anyway when you send your SAT score report to one of their schools. You’re required to send all of your scores anyway.
