Do I need to put in the first semester senior year grades, if I got them?

My couselor said that the first semester grades weren't in yet..but probably soon. I'm applying to some CSUs right now and I'm not sure if I need to put my senior year grades in. Is it required or can I just put my grades from 9th-11th?

Most schools don't require them. Eventually some schools ask for them, but after you're accepted.

Very simple:

If you do have the grades, list them.

If you don't have the grades, don't list them. Then check the school's website to see if you need to submit first-semester grades when they become availble. If they are required, submit them when you get them. Many students do not have first semester grades when they submit their applications - it is perfectly fine.

**Several CSUs require first semester grades, so be SURE to check the website of the school you are applying to.

If they are a improvement why not. Although if your applying when your first semester is over, I wouldn't be surprise if they ask to see them anyway... since it's a most recent check up.
