<p>I am a freshman at a small private school in MA, but am thinking about attending the University of Maryland: College Park now. The thing is I was already accepted for spring 2009 when I first applied to colleges. I turned UMD down in the mail but does that mean that the offer is gone now? Is there anyway now for me attend in the spring of 2009?</p>
<p>You need to email or telephone the admissions office and ask if the space is still available. They will be able to tell you if you need to make a full re-application, or if they can pull your record from their files.</p>
