Do I need to repot this? urgent!

Hello, this should be a general problem for all my colleges, but since MIT is my dream school, I am going to post here.
The thing is that, because of school's inability to support lots of AP classes, the school decided to cut AP classes. Because of this, my schedule got into conflict, and I had to change from Spanish 2 honors to spanish 2 regular ( i am international student who came to the U.S. in 10th grade, so I am in Spanish2). My college counselor told me to send the changes in my classes (Spanish2 H -> Spanish2) to the colleges I have applied. However, if I think about it, it is quite silly to send an e-mail for such a trivial thing. It's only from honors class to regular class after all. Do you think I should notify colleges that I changed from Spanish2 H to Spanish2 due to inevitable reasons?

Thanks for any help!

You write, “My college counselor told me to send the changes in my classes (Spanish2 H -> Spanish2) to the colleges I have applied.”

You should follow your counselor’s advice, even though this change seems trivial. For one thing, your counselor will be sending in the mid-year school report to MIT and other colleges, and this change will appear. If you don’t explain what happened, it will seem as if you lied on your application and mis-represented yourself as taking an honors version of the class.

So go ahead and take your counselor’s advice, because it seems to me that he or she has your best interest in mind.

I thought this was going to be a question about plants.
