Do I need to respond to CHP?

<p>I was accepted into the CHP and on the calendar they sent me, it says that I must RSVP to UCI and CHP by May 1 "a separate response is required for each"? So do I need to contact them in any way other than sending in my SIR?</p>

for me, when i sent in my SIR, the CHP office sent me an email which tell me to sent them an email stating my intent to join CHP. it’s just a simple email in which you state your name, id, and just tell them that u want to join CHP. but i didn’t get any confirmation email after that.</p>
