Do I need to retake SAT/subject tests?

Hi,

I am a senior looking to apply to some competitive schools. I just took the ACT today and I’m feeling a little bit discouraged because I struggled with time (ended up skipping a ton of questions). With applications due soon, I was wondering if I should retake exams, and if so, which ones. These are my current scores:

SAT(first time) -1390 C, 650 E, 650M (I know this isn’t great)
SAT (second time) - 1500 C, 700 E, 800 M
Chemistry - 730 (I have since taken AP Chem so I think I should retake? Confident I could get an 800)
Math ll - 750

I am planning on applying early action to Princeton for BSE. Aside from that I will be applying to Penn, Brown, Hopkins, UMich, and a couple honors colleges at state schools in my area. Bonus question: chance me? :slight_smile:

Correction: My first score was 650 E, 740 M

if you have time and money, I will retake…but do you have enough test dates remaining to take both SAT/SAT II again?
