My counselor recommendation is 350 words (and 600 for my chemistry teacher), and it seems that CommonApp only asked for a "short evaluation"? I wonder if it is appropriate to write the "short evaluation" directly in the blank, or should I send a scanned pdf file with signature?
I'd be really thankful if you guys could help me. :D

FWIW, I think there is something more professional to have an actual scanned letter with a signature. It just looks better. And to be blunt, it also requires just a bit more effort and thus gives some more weight to the words. That is just me though. Maybe a former admin that used the online common application might weigh on this. I could be all wet in my thinking.

But doesn’t that mean I have to have her sign 8 papers for 8 different schools? Well 8 might not be a big number and I can deal with it, but do we have any other way to sign one time only? Do you guys edit the image and copy the signature (Well it’s clearly illegal, but it’s not like they are tracking us up here right? )
