Do I need to send in additional test scores? (Conflict with Common App?)

Hello!

I am applying to Harvard EA. I noticed that the Common Application asks you for your highest scores in each section of the ACT, however, Harvard only requires one test. I have taken two ACTs and there is a mix of the top scores of each section between these two tests. Should I only send in the top ACT score or would I need to send in my other score report because I listed those scores on my Common Application?

Thanks is advance!

How many scores are you paying for the ACT to send? On the Common Application testing section, the first question asks

If you answer 1, then the program doesn’t ask for the highest scores in each section. However, if you answer 2, or more, then the program does ask these questions. If you report 2 or more scores, yes you will have to pay the ACT to send additional score reports for the dates of those tests.

Given the question is on the Common Application and not on Harvard’s supplement, I believe the program is asking this question for colleges that do super-score the ACT. However, Harvard does NOT super-score the ACT, so it only makes sense to report and send one ACT score report.

@gibby So I would change it to one score, then if I apply to super-scoring colleges, make it two or more?

If you take that approach take your time and make sure you do every college correctly.

@gibby Thanks for the help!
