Hello!

If you have been accepted to a school do you generally have to send in mid-year grades or just end of year grades?

Thanks!

You need to send in both the Midyear Report and the Final Report (assuming the college uses the Common App, that is).

nope doesn’t use a common app and hasn’t asked for a mid-year report, I just wasn’t sure if it is just ‘understood’ that you have to send in the mid-year report…

Well, at many schools the counselors send it to your college automatically without even asking you.

I’m homeschooled…

In that case, I honestly have no idea. I get the impression that Midyear reports and end-of-year reports are compulsory but that was just because at my high school the counsellor sent them automatically as part of the transcript whenever they came in. I would check the college’s websites; it should be the same for home-schooled students but it might not be.

This is all it says in the acceptance letter…

It doesn’t say anything about mid-year so I assumed I don’t need to send them but I am not certain, I think I will call in the morning to make sure.
