Do I Need To Send My Final IB Grades to CMU?

they say that the final grade report is due July 1st, and my grades for the IB come out July 5th~ (approx.) I have a normal letter grade HS transcript for my second semester of senior year. I also don’t really plan on converting credit (my HLs are likely not going to be high enough / not offered)

Please let me know! Thank you

No, if you don’t want credit and the IB exam scores are not factored into your final transcript grades.

@skieurope cool, tysm for letting me know. This wouldn’t by any chance change if I’m an international student, would it?

Again, it only matters if your exam scores form part of your final course grade, which is common (but not ubiquitous) is international schools.Otherwise, it does not matter.

That said, your acceptance will not be rescinded for low scores, so there really is no harm in sending them in. No need to overthink this.

@skieurope alright, thank you! I’m just super nervous I guess  Thank you for taking the time to respond and help me out! I really appreciate it.

If you have your final High School grades, that’s what they want to see.

AP scores come out the same time - week of July 5th. I assume IB is similar - scores may be used for credit/placement but don’t really play much of a role in admissions. The schools are looking to see that you finished of your coursework on a similar basis to what they used to admit you.
