I submitted an ACT + Writing Score and an SAT score. Do I need to also send SAT Subject Tests? I have taken two but I'm not sure if I am required to send them since I sent an ACT + Writing Score.

According to the below, you DID NOT need to submit your SAT score when you submitted the ACT with writing. But now that you did, it would seem that you are required to send them your SAT Subject Tests as well.

QUESTION: If I have taken the SAT and at least two SAT Subject Tests, and the ACT with Writing, must I report all scores from both testing agencies? Can I send only the SAT test scores or only the ACT test scores provided that I fulfill Yale’s testing requirement?

ANSWER: Yes. As long as you provide a complete set of score reports from one testing agency (either the College Board or ACT, Inc.), you are not required to report scores from both. You can choose to report either all of your SAT results (both SAT and SAT Subject Tests) or all of your ACT results. If you want us to have any scores from both the College Board and ACT, Inc., you must report all scores from both testing agencies.

Uh oh. So what happens if you sent them your ACT with writing but only one subject test? Are you now required to send them your SAT and the other subject tests? Or will they simply not consider it?

Maybe I wasn’t being prudent, but I sent my ACT plus writing and two SAT subject tests. Since it’s not required, I figured it could only help. Thusly, I think it is false logic that @happyheart would have to send his/her SAT subject test scores. Once the basic requirement is met (ACT plus writing or SAT plus two subject area tests), any other scores would then be simply supplementary materials.

@theAkzis: You are in the same position as the OP. You were only required to send them the ACT with writing, but as you sent them one subject test, you must now send them ALL SAT tests and all SAT subject tests.

@theowlgoeshoot: Read the last sentence from Yale’s website: “If you want us to have any scores from both the College Board and ACT, Inc., you must report all scores from both testing agencies.” That’s not false logic, that’s the requirements.

Agree w/gibby, no false logic involved, just CR skills. Read another of the FAQs from the link that gibby gives:

Note the word ‘choose’. While it’s not a requirement to send scores from both agencies, if YOU CHOOSE to do so, then you must send them all, no Score Choice.
