do i need to send transcipt "NOW" for a class i have just finished taking at a

community college?

i have applied to
Boston Univ
Carnegie Mellon Univ
Washington Univ St Louis
Univ of Michigan
American Univ
New York Univ

And a bunch of Uc's

i am currently a senior in high school

What do you mean by "now"? Have a transcript sent once the grade is available on the transcript. Colleges say that everything must be in by a certain deadline, but in practice only the application and the application fee are critical. Some people take SAT's in January. Teachers and GC's may not do recs on time. High schools may not mail transcripts on time. The first part of the year is spent by the colleges in just gathering everything together into everybody's files.

what i mean is that i took a class at a community college and it ended last week, i already sent my school transcripts to the colleges i am applying to but do i also need to send the community college transcript? y if so do i need to send it now, or later on, once i am already admitted wherever it is???

i was wandering about exactly the same thing..

Talk to the comm college and ask them to send their transcript once the grade is on it. It won't be on it after only a week.

Having the comm college transcript in your application package will look good because it shows initiative. If the comm college course is related to some EC that you have, mention it in your essay about your EC's.

but do i need to send the community college transcript NOW or can i wait and send it to the college i get admitted to??

I was thinking that you wanted to send the transcript as part of the application process in order to look better and improve your chance of being admitted.

If it is a question as to whether you are required to send the comm college transcript, then the answer is yes and no. It probably says on the app that they require you to send transcripts of all high school and college courses completed. That is the "yes" part. The "no" part is that they have no way of knowing about the comm college course having been taken unless you tell them, and they probably won't care too much about getting a transcript anyway.

since i dont know each colleges policies for the college course transcripts i have posted this question in each college forum i am applying to
