Do I need to study vocab for ACT???

Haven't studied for SAT yet, but I know ACT doesn't focus so much on vocab as much as SAT. However, should I still study vocabulary for the ACT???

If yes, any recommendations of a word list???

Thanks in advance!

No. Maybe one question in the English section will ask you for the definition of a word, but it will be in context, similar to the CR “vocab in context” questions. And they aren’t really hard.

Cheers

Vocabulary helps with the Sentence Completion questions on the SAT but is generally unhelpful for the ACT.

Nah, there is no vocabulary tested on the ACT.

There is no Vocab, but a solid amount of basic grammar. Get the Cliffnotes book for grammar its pretty skinny and can be read in a weekend. Skim it over before the test and I guarantee a high score. I read this the night before the test and improved my English subscore from a 28 to a 34.
