Do I need to submit my Mid Year Report to Northwestern?

Northwestern emailed me saying that they have “received all of my applications materials”, so I’m not sure whether I should tell my counselor to send them my mid year report. Can someone help me?

It is required

Yes, I have the same thing. My app is said to be complete without it, so why include it? Thanks for any help !

I would send my mid year report no matter what because you never know what adcoms will do and what that means on your decision

I would send it just be safe, and it’s just another way to brag about grades in classes your taking to the admissions office. If you (hopefully) did well this term and it shows an upward gba trend and challenging classes you should go ahead and tell them how you’ve been doing. And even if your grades aren’t exactly what you hoped for this semester, because of one challenging class or whatever, I might still concider summiting them: you should be proud of your high school work and one bad aspect of your grades isn’t a sole deal breaker my any means. Your grades only give the school a good idea of how’d you do as a student at their university and seeing how you’d fit in academically. And honestly if your grades are so bad that you think it would ruin you chances, why would you want to attend a school that would be extremely academically challenging for you anyways? You should apply fully as yourself, hide nothing, be proud of the work you put into your HS coursework and application.

Your counselor should have sent it automatically through common app. Check with him just to make sure.
