Do I need to superscore my ACT?

So I took the ACT with writing last year and got a 34 and 8 on writing. When I retook it this year without writing, I got a 35 and all of my sections were the same score or better, however I didn’t have a writing score. Do I need to superscore my ACT score so that they can see the writing component or should I just use the second score and leave writing blank?

You do not superscore, you send in your ACT scores and the colleges will superscore it for you. If the college requires the ACT with writing, they will only consider the ACT where you took the writing portion.

SLO does not require the writing portion of the ACT and only superscores Math and English sections.
