Do I need to TAG?

I'm a CCC student hoping to transfer to Berkeley as an American Studies major in Fall 2011. If I manage a 4.0 this semester I could end with a 3.7, but I'm realistically expecting a 3.64. I have a pretty good list of EC's and other achievements, I'm a very good writer so my personal statement should be a 9-10, I overcame serious illness in high school, and I'm doing well in the class I'm taking at Berkeley right now through concurrent enrollment.

My heart is set on Berkeley, and right now I think if I didn't get in I might actually take another year of CC and re-apply, rather than go to another UC. However, I'm applying to one or two others to keep my options open.

My question is: Do I need to TAG to the others? I hadn't thought about this since a counselor at my CC said I have a good shot at UCB and UCLA, but would definitely get in anywhere else. I just checked the TAG website and I guess tomorrow is the deadline, so I'm a little worried I'm missing out.

Thanks for your help!

DEFFS TAG. doesnt hurt to have your options open, and u can TAG to great schools like UCSD or SB, etc. just in case you decide that giving another year of your life isnt worth berkeley.

Thanks. I just submitted TAG online to all the campuses. Is that all I need to do? Seems like it was too easy.

thats it dude.

Don’t worry. With you’re GPA, even without TAG, you’re pretty much in. Congrats man!

Good luck on your Berkeley admissions.
