Do I need to take an english course?

<p>I got accepted into Engineering for computer science. I got a 32 on my English part of the ACT. Do I need to take any english courses in college? I feel like it's too good to be true, but I heard a 32 or higher exempts a person from Freshman English. Thanks.</p>
