Do I need to take the ACT again?

Most of the schools I am applying to superscore the ACT, but a couple competitive ones like Northwestern do not. My top composite score is a 34, and my highest single sitting score is a 33, which would be fine but my math was low and I might apply to the schools of engineering withing a college. The first time I took the ACT, I got a 30 on math, 33 on science, 33 on reading, and 35 on English. The second time, I got a 33 on math, 25 on science (no idea how that happened), 34 on reading and 36 on English.

Obviously my science score is dragging down my second score (only 32 overall) but the math is much higher so I don’t want colleges to only look at the higher overall score. Do the colleges that say they don’t superscore actually only consider one score? The ones I’m applying to that don’t superscore require you send all your scores, so do they really only look at one? Should I take the ACT again for the competitive schools that don’t superscore to have a better chance?

I’m pretty sure that the schools that require all scores to be sent look at all of the scores.

But if you’ve only taken the ACT twice, and you feel like you can certainly do better, why not give it another shot?
