If you received your GED and completed your Associates at a CC. DO you need to take your SATs to apply as a transfer to an ivy league school or say Barnard College?

I doubt that there’s a general answer to your question. As always with all “requirements/rules” for application contact the admission department of your colleges of interest and ask.

You may shortcut the process by looking at the respective admissions web sites. But if when reading these you’re still unsure contact the admissions department. That’s why they are there.

I general, yes, but there are exceptions. You have to check school by school.

Almost always, yes. For the schools you want to apply to, without a doubt.

I disagree, generally as a transfer they only require the SATs if you took them in high school. It would be pointless to take them with an associates degree. I’m also transferring from a CC but I actually took them once and did poorly and they want mine so I have no idea if I can retake them to cover up my old scores.

Just realized this was 2 months old.
