Do I Need to Take This Subject Test?

I have already taken Bio-M and scored a 710. I will be definitely retaking this in october along with Math IIC. I want to go into BME, and want to go to JHU. I was wondering if I get both tests to 750+, should I also be taking a third subject test in Chemistry? Now here's the thing. Chemistry is one of the 2 B+s that Ive gotten in HS and I thought if I take SAT Chem then it might make up for it. Plus, I'm not too great at chemistry. Is this the case? Or am I fine with just those two subject tests. Also, I will be appling to some Ivys, so I'm not sure if I should be taking 3 to be more competitive, becuase I will only have 5 APs by the end of senior year, and I only took 1 junior year. (All else honors though).

bumping this up

bumppp bumpp

…anybody?

JHU “applicants are strongly encouraged to submit up to three SAT subject tests.”
Strongly encouraged for top tier schools essentially means do it because of the competition you’ll face.

So yes you might as well take chemistry to get the 3rd subject test in. Note that subject tests won’t necessarily make up for a B at IVYs. Getting a good score can certainly boost your chances though.

I know people who got in with 2, but I’m not sure if taking a 3rd will increase my chances for scholarships.
