Do I need

Ok, so I submitted all of my schools applications about 2 weeks ago and my guidance counseler has sent in everything (on the common app I assume) over this Christmas break, I decided to add another school to my list (it has a January 1st deadline) that I really began to like after doing some research, so I just finished answering the questions, writing the supplements and sending the act scores (yes all at 4AM)

My question is will my applicAtion be considered complete? Does my guidance counselor have to check off that I'm applying to Vassar on the common app or will VASSAR be able to download my transcript/report/rec automatically from the common app? I'm a little bit nervous to email my GC after I assured her i was done a couple of weeks ago and she's probably having a hectic time with all the procrastinators during Christmas break

So yeah I pretty much just want to know if Vassar will retrieve my school report/transcript/guidance counselor rec letter off of the common app automatically without informing my counselor that I applied there last minute

That probably sounds a little bit confusing I'm sorry it's late but I'm extremely paranoid about this right now. Now I have to sleep and hope someone sees this by morning

Thank you!

Yes it’ll be fine. You’ll see that yours and about 20000 other posts about “deadlines” will appear between now and the end of January.

Remember: the colleges WANT to admit (tuition paying) students.

Well yeah I just want to know if colleges automatically download the school report and my transcript

bump?z???

Yes they will automatically download things on Jan 1-Jan 2.

What you really want to know is if everything you submit eventually makes it into your file and gets read. The answer is YES (unless you add stuff in March or something). How and when colleges do it is up to their own, time proven methods. Remember, they have successfully read hundreds of thousands of applications. Yours scenario is not unique to them. Plz trust that they can walk and chew gum simultaneously.
