Do I Really Need to Send Every Score?

Hi, guys. Is FSU very strict about sending every score you have ever taken to them? I have taken one ACT, two SAT’s, and 3 SAT subject tests, and am signed up to take 2 more subject tests next month. For me to send all of my scores to them would cost a lot of money that I do not have.

Does anybody have a suggestion? Thanks in advance. I would prefer to just send my SAT.

I didn’t send all my scores because I didn’t think I had to. -Umiamis website says to send all scores and I called them and they said that it’s not required but they recommend it so that they can superscore and give you the best chance. I would call but I’m not too stressed about it.

Send in whatever you want. FSU recommends you send in all your scores because they superscore them to give you the highest score possible. If one of your tests though includes all of your highest scores you’ve received, there’s no real need to send in all of your test scores.

I hope this is not too late, but I called FSU the other day and asked if they really wanted ALL of my scores (since the ACT will only let you send one score at a time - and they charge you each time!). I told them I had taken the ACT and SAT numerous times for practice in the 9th and 10th grades, and FSU said I should only send my highest scores for each test/send in the test dates where I made the highest scores in each section. Like Pasbal said, FSU superscores both the ACT and the SAT so only send in all your scores if you think it will help you. I ended up sending all of my SAT scores because it’s the same price and I took a few subject tests, but I only sent 1 ACT score because superscoring wouldn’t be beneficial for me and of the prohibitive cost of sending multiple ACT scores. Best of luck!
