<p>It would help if your could give an idea of what your UW GPA is. Your EC’s are pretty solid, but nothing spectacular. Your ACT is good, and your rigor of schedule is good. However, I’m not convinced it is enough to get into an Ivy League school. Cornell is typically known as the easiest Ivy to get into, so, you would probably stand the best chance at Cornell. You never know what will happen; with good essays, interviews, and recommendations, you could get in.</p>

<p>Chance back
<a href=“Chances for UVA and Vanderbilt. Will chance back. - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1634747-chances-for-uva-and-vanderbilt-will-chance-back-p1.html&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>What is your UW GPA? Your test scores are solid. You might want to try the SAT or SAT II to demonstrate your strengths in a particular subject. Your EC’s are good but nothing outstanding. Maybe try and do something this summer to make yourself stand out? If you write excellent essays, it looks like you have a decent chance at some of the easier Ivies.</p>

<p>My school doesn’t give UW gap’s, like they refused to tell me. I have taken the chemistry and Math lvl 1 SAT II’s and I got a 710 and 740 accordingly. Not that good, should I retake?</p>

<p>Not accordingly, you mean respectively?
You should take Math Level II. If you’re in APUSH, take the US History. If you’re in AP science, take the corresponding subject test.
If you GPA is anything less than 3.85 (unless your courses are tremendously difficult), I’d label most top schools and pretty dramatic reaches. It doesn’t help that your activities are pretty typical. Being an officer means NOTHING. It’s what you bring to the organization that matters. You can be a member and make a tremendous difference without having a title.
ACT score is fine, but your math score is PRETTY low… That’d definitely be a red flag (colleges consider English and Math the most indicative of college success).
I know I probably sound harsh, but this is just constructive criticism. You shouldn’t be applying to top schools because they’re top schools. You should apply to schools that 1. you can afford 2. offer your major 3. are strong in your major 4. fit certain personal criteria (size, demographic, location, etc.)
For example, one who applies to Brown probably wouldn’t apply to a slightly more rigidly stem school school, like HM, Caltech, etc.
If you conjure up a list, I’d be more than happy to help.</p>
