do I stand a chance?? for class 2016

<p>I'm an year13 Korean-born Kiwi
gender:F</p>

<p>SAT1:2210 ( 700CR 750Writing 760maths)
SAT2:Sitting 2subject tests in June and Korean in November
extracurriculars:
-school prefect(one of the elected 30 prefects of 3000 student body)-organizing socials, cultural diversity week activities, conducting out-of-school voluntary works, organizing Geek Week during exam time, speeches at assemblies, Gate Duty etc.</p>

<p>-Future Problem Solving: National 3rd in Middle individual Division 2009, National Champion in Senior individuals division 2010, International Finalist in senior division 2011 (Internation conference is in June)</p>

<p>-Leader of school Amnesty International group(member 2years leader 2years)-writing weekly letters to governments around the world to fight for human rights(occasionally receive replies), organizing activities for Freedom Week, conducting weekly meetings (membership of around 200 students), </p>

<p>-Leader of Cultural Committee 1yr member for 3 years (conducting region-wide cultural concerts) raise around $2000 per concert</p>

<p>-house building trip to Cambodia (built 8 houses,visited orphanages and raised about $18,000 for donation as a group of 16 students)</p>

<p>-Shore Youth Councilor for a year (student representative of our area at the city council for the youth. organized a city-wide youth legacy project)</p>

<p>-currently doing a university stage1 calculus at Auckland University in NZ (mid-term test result was A)</p>

<p>-Flute player in school symphonic band for 2 years</p>

<p>-maths/science mentor for year9 students</p>

<p>-peer support leader for year9 students</p>

<p>-fencing and badminton club member</p>

<p>-Australian maths competition,national top4%( not that outstanding I know)</p>

<p>-lots of other smaller stuff: Greenpeace member, SADD(Students against driving drunk member) member, church outreach camp etc, etc</p>

<p>I'm in scholarship classes for biology, chemistry, Calculus and English this year (It's kind of like extension classes, like honours/AP in US</p>

<p>I'm slightly worried about not having IB or AP
but I have to travel all the way to Australia just to sit the test and that's a waste of money</p>

and your extracurriculars are pretty good i guess…
grades are good…
but i think u can get some more in CR part of SAT and math(sat I math, really should be 800)</p>

and You have passed SAT in this age, i think its almost impossible and you have few amazing EC’s
If you have a secret say me because it’s just waw</p>

<p>It’s a reach. You have a good SAT, but your ECs are very spread out. It sort of looks like you tried to join everything. You should really focus on one or two areas of your ECs, like being an active volunteer, or focusing on the fencing or other sport. Don’t just try and be in everything because you think think you need to be in lots of activities. Harvard likes to see “well rounded” people (good grades+serious involvement) not just “I’m in every EC”.</p>

<p>Year 13 does not mean 13 years old. OP said she was a kiwi, so she’s talking about the Australian education system, where Year 13 is the equivalent of a high school diploma. Are you an international applicant?</p>
