Do I stand a chance for History and Econ at Oxford, UCL (HPE) and LSE (Econ Hx&Econ)?

Here are my stats:
SAT–1280 (Oct 2018, I’m aware it’s bad!) and 1480 (Oct 2019)

ACT-- 36 (Feb 2020)

AP’s-- 5’s on French Lang, Euro History, English Lang, Stat, Macro and US Gov (All 2019 except Eng Lang, which I have gotten 5’s on Practice tests for)
Predicted Senior year AP’s-- 5’s on English Lit, Comp Gov, US History, Calc BC, Micro and Chemistry (All 2021, I’m being overly optimistic here, but I assume my referee will predict 5’s due to my AP track record)

SUBJECT TESTS – 800 World History (Aug 2019), 800 Math 2 (Aug 2019)

I assume my referee will write a LOR on par for top schools (strong grades in history and dedicated interest) and I have done a good of reading/expressing interest in a specific area of International economic history (visited museums in the specific region in Europe several times, conducted interviews with professors at T10 schools on the topic, done independent studies regarding the topic at school). My math background is strong as well, as I have won regional competitions. I assume my 1280 will be my downfall at UCL and Oxford, so should I even apply?

I don’t know if I posted this on the right forum, but from my browsing it seems like @HazeGrey @Twoin18 and @collegemom3717 seem to have good knowledge on the system. Could any of you give me advice?

The International UK sub-forum would be best.

Your stats look fine to me. You’ll need to report the 1280, but the 1480 effectively cancels it out, so I don’t see it being a problem, especially as it dates back to 2018. For Oxford you’ll need to register for HAT and TSA.

Good luck!

@Conformist1688 Many thanks for your response! Should I just copy/paste this and repost it on to the other forum? EDIT: just did that, is there a way the moderator could delete this one? thanks!
