<p>To be brutally honest, your chances aren’t looking all that great from what I see. Your numbers are generally pretty good, but it seems like you joined a bunch of ECs your junior year just to get ahead. You’d need some killer essays to be considered for Ivys.</p>
<p>@lackrose101, browndbaternerd thank you for the replies! i got encouraged :)))) cuz i always thought myself to b impossible i will work hard to raise my SAT score to around 2300 and then i think i’ll do my best for IB as well . @lackrose 101 i am having a hard problem in IB noww especially at art and science and history : ( and i heard tht for Ivy leages u’ll need to get all 7s… i am wondering if it’s true?</p>
<p>I hope that you look into each Ivy carefully–most of them are extremely different.</p>
<p>Do you have a good shot at Cornell? Yes. HYP? Not great. Online music club sounds cool, I hope you give that some emphasis on your app. However, SAT Study Club doesn’t sound like something important to mention. Was it just a study group, or did you take any leadership? </p>

Science is evil and history is okay.</p>
<p>Colleges look at your IB grade. You do not need all 7’s to get into an IVY. Remember, schools will not see your score until the fall of 2012 (I’m guessing that you are a junior). Work hard on your mocks and stuff like that. But what they will care the most about is your GPA.</p>

My art teacher is kind of strict and I am discouraged every time i talk to her I take bio HL and YES it’s evil. i wonder if it’s even possible to get 7 in HL bio xD I am also taking econ HL anddddddddddddddd it’ssssss… horrible. even though i got good grades at the begining of the year (5,5,7,7 = so i got 6 in the report card), but then i did so bad on my econ exam so my grade went down to 5… i think i’ll do my best. Are you taking Art HL?</p>
<p>Your EC’s seem a bit scattered and there doesn’t seem be much duration in your interests. Other than that, I think you have a pretty good chance.</p>
