do i stand a chance?

i am a junior at Ohio State, I am an international student.
My GPA is 3.89 and i haven't completed bio 1 and 2
I was going to apply for spring 07, for the CALS AEM promgram.
I am an acc major over here, but i have taken a number of Econ classes and got A s in all of them.
As far as my involvement on campus goes... its been minimal because i used to work 20 hours a week(even while being an honors student), so i could not afford to get involved in any activities on campus.. would that hurt my chances?
I have all the other preparatory courses, and also physics (which they recommend)

Should i take the SAT II to increase my chances.
My SAT I was 1310 (700 M 610 V)
My Toefl was 273/300

My high school record is quite good.

Someone please help

I'd say that they would see that ur grades are great and see that you were working a lot (make sure to mention) and kind of peice things together...although it will still obviously not be a very good peice of info because every college wants students to be involved in college life...

Your School academics is average, Cornell standard.
However, your SAT is a bit too low for Cornell. Your TOEFl scores are low too.
As for ECs, the AdComs would understand that you work 20hrs/week. So thats not a cause of much concern.
But, boost up your academics a lot.

This is Cornell. It is compulsory to take atleast 2 SAT-2s, but most take 3.

Actually since you're applying to CALS you don't need to take any SAT II's. I would instead focus on perhaps raising your verbal score a bit (it's good to be 650+ in both math and verbal.) Of course, if you feel that you can do well in any of the available SAT II's, by all means, take it (them). Make sure that you spend a good amount of time formulating your essays and making sure they include your passions. Also research what the university has to offer you and what opportunities you would be able to take advantage of while you are a student. (Including this in your essay is a very good thing.) At the moment you have an average shot, but you could easily raise your chances with some effort.

thanks for your feedback, I was wondering what SAT II's should i be taking... I'll be applying for the AEM major....
Would it help if i can visit the admission counsellor and the program co ordiantor for AEM ??
Since I am in NY for th summer , that wouldnt be a big poblem..

I wish I could help...I'd say go with your best and perhaps a math (it seems like that's the one that seems to be required for some random programs). I'd def check out the site, email sum1, or just do your best ones! (perhaps 3).
