My GPA's kind of low, but I have taken as many APs as I could have (with the exception of APUSH/AP Euro). To be honest, it's worrying me quite a bit. My school does not rank.

I'm also applying to many BS/MD programs, Brown (PLME) UPenn, Dartmouth, Northwestern, UChicago (EA), and Princeton.

Oh yeah, I’m South Asian (Indian).

Does not show any interest in business whatsoever. Your guess is as good as mine.

Does DECA count for anything?

If CALS fails, what are my chances for Human Ecology?

I just meant that there is little emphasis on business, moreso on science. Therefore, apply for science for a better shot?

I suppose so. I mean, I will be a pre-med student, but I wanted to major in something that isn’t related to science. I like Econ and I’m good at it, so I figured I’d apply.

In any case, if AEM falls through, hopefully Human Ecology will work out.

I think that your application seems rather science-focused. I’ve seen alot of applications on CC for AEM, and some of them absurdly powerful. You have good statistics, but i think you have a better shot at Human Ecology. Best of luck!

You have a good chance, but honestly, i wouldnt really hope of making it into AEM if I were you. Sorry, but as you know Cornell is about FIT, and well according to your application u wouldnt really seem to fit into AEM, however, I think that you do have a good->great chance at your alternative choice, because, you really do fit into Human Ec, and I think that even you know that, since your planning on doing premed, I hope that Human Ec looks at your app too. Also, if you do get into Human Ec, you can still do business subjects through minors, since you have electives in other colleges. Good Luck  and sorry for being so brutal :(

Thanks for your input, everyone.

What I’m worried about is my GPA. I have many, many B+s, and I do feel that they will hurt me. I mean, I think I’ve taken north of 20 honors/AP classes, but how much would that mean?
