<p>My son applied to ILR last year and got deferred early decision. Then in April he rec’d a letter which told him what courses to take his Freshman year at another college and that he needed to get a 3.4 GPA his Freshmen year in order to transfer to ILR as a sophomore. Considering you have a 3.9, I would say your chances are pretty good. But remember, you are applying to CALS, not ILR. Anyway you should apply if that is what you really want. Good luck. My son, btw, loves where he now goes and does not plan to apply for a transfer to Cornell. :(</p>
