Hi all,

I am applying to Cornell as a transfer student. I am a freshman at Rutgers University currently and have a 3.85 first semester GPA. I am applying to the engineering school.

In your opinion, do I stand a real shot against others appyling?

Thanks,

Also, my high school gpa was around a 3.5 unweighted and 4.2 weighted. My SAT was a 2140 (high math and writing scores)

engineering takes very few applicants, so you never know. i’d say your HS stats are on the weak end and if you’re applying for soph year, they’ll still count a lot. your college work is good, but maybe you should wait another year
