I’m a senior high school student graduating next June and am intending to apply for KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). The problem is, even though my GPA is relatively high (average 4.5/5), my Chemistry and Biology scores are also kinda high (average 4.7/10), my Maths score is quite low (average 4/5 - I know it looks high but it’s considered average in my country). I major in English at school and have had many prizes (nationally and provincially) in English, but none in Maths and Science. I’m taking ACT for the first time in December 2018, and aiming for 30/36 because I don’t believe much in myself So my question is, regarding my completely different previous academic path, is there any chance for me to get into KAIST, assuming that they value Maths and Science scores a lot? I’m not worrying much about my extracurricular activities so this question is purely academic. Thank you.
