<p>I screwed up my freshman year and got a 1.8 gpa. Now it is my sophemore and I have a 3.6gpa ( 1 AP class). I volunteer everyother saturday for 5 hours, I am in film club, and I am going to be on the golf team. Do you think I still can get in to providence college even with my horrible freshman year gpa? <p>if you keep up good grades through first semester senior year the poor results from your first year shouldn’t hurt all that much at at school like Providence. Taking an AP already in your sophomore year is also good. Keep taking the most rigorous load you can handle without getting in over your head academically.</p>
