Do I still have a chance to get into McGill?

Do I still have a chance to get into McGill?
Getting into McGill next year was a very important prospect for me when I started school here. I wanted to get strong grades in university and then apply as a transfer student. I'm going to a good school already, but not top-tier. Unfortunately, I'm projected to fail two courses this semester. There was too much interference with my coursework.

I've already registered for six courses (18 credits) next semester, and I'm going to register for an additional three courses (9 credits) at another university, probably one on-campus and two on-line. This will make next semester a total of 27 credits, when the normal workload for a student is just 15 credits.

I'm doing the coursework beforehand, that's the reason. I have 5 weeks left to do as much of the coursework for next semester as I can. Based on my writing and reading speed, I expect to finish the coursework requirements of at least 4 courses by Christmas, leaving only four courses next semester and eight exams.

Two 'F's on a transcript are a big deal. :( But my question is, if next semester I get eight A's or better, could I get accepted at McGill for September? April 1 is the deadline to apply.

I only want the Faculty of Arts.

Thanks numskulls. I’ll find out on my own.
