Hey everyone! I'm currently in the 7th grade and applying to Groton school. Everything so far in the application process has been great: Teacher recs., transcripts (all pre-ap classes),essays, interview, etc. So I just got my SSAT scores back. You see when I was taking the SSAT's I had just been to the hospital a couple nights before and was feeling sick (I actually sneezed on my answer sheet), and I was both thrilled and worried. My SSAT scores
are 98% reading, 97% quantitative, and 64% on the verbal (I know), and 90% overall. As you can see I did HORRIBLE on the verbal. So am I still qualified for Groton. My public school is rundown and the education is just failing both me and my peers. This is my only chance, so please:
Do I still have a really good chance of getting in, and what do you think my chances are (percentage please)?

Hard to say without reading your other information, but your ssat score doesn’t preclude you from admission. If you really want to change schools, try broadening your spectrum of schools you apply too.
