Do i still have a chance?

I did poorly this freshman year because i got a 2.85. Will Pennsylvania Univerisity really care about how well i did my freshman year. I want to go to a Pennsylvania. But im not sure if i can do that anymore because i messed up this year. Do i still have a chance to get in??

i can tell you one thing. Colleges want to see improvements. I remember one person told me that colleges would rather have a person who kept improving throughout his or her years in highschool, thus demonstrating that she or he is motivated to do better and wants to do better. Rather tahn have a person who did amazing one yerar then went downhill and came back up. Hope that helps. Just remember that Ivies are not everytihng. There are other colleges out there that might even be a better suit for you. Hey there are more than 3000 colleges in the United States, take your pick.

Of course you can get in sweeetie, as long as you can show a male UPenn admissions officer that you're a "freak in the sheets", which is perhaps the most underestimated component of the college admissions process for a female.

well, if you keep calling it pennsylvania university, that'll really increase your chances of admission...

*end sarcasm

your freshman grades are indeed considered in your application. if you do not show marked improvement as you progress through high school, acceptance with a mediocre, at best, transcript is highly unlikely.

ewwwwww PU
