do I have still have a chance? is there anyt hing else that i can do from now on to increase my chances of getting in to Cornell? i just dont have any motivation to do anything cuz my friends at Cornell told me that GPA is like the most important thing and Junior year is the most important year but i completely screwed my gpa this year....

Please help me thank you

apply early decision.

thank you for your reply! if i do, then do you think i have a chance? i know its no use asking for my chances here but im just afraid. my gpa has dropped from 4.0 to 3.5,…

ED acceptance rate is around 33%, RD is 17%

Your SAT 2’s in november wouldn’t make the ED deadline though. (at least i think)
Definitely retake the SAT one and aim for 2100+, then apply ED regardless. I forget if Cornell requires SAT 2’s, but if possible, try and take in July if you’re still home.

If you apply early, the deadline for apps is Nov 1st so you wouldn’t be able to retake the SAT in November. I think your SAT score is pretty good. Is that score superscored? From what I’ve heard, Cornell superscores which means your score will be higher. Look into the school you want to apply to and see if they require SAT II’s. I plan on applying to ILR which requires math level IC. Either way the SAT II’s are recommended in every school within Cornell, so I think you should take SAT II’s in October and leave your SAT I score. Good luck!

on the cornell’s website it says "Plan to take the SAT before November of your senior year, or the ACT no later than October, if you will be applying early. Early-decision applicants are also strongly urged to take the SAT Subject Tests no later than November, because the scores are used in the colleges’ early decision selection process.

doesnt that mean that i can stills end in november test’s score??? i could send it through as a rush score right???
