Do I still have a realistic chance for UCLA?

I started my first community college semester rough and got a 2.97 gpa (C in English), then this semester I have 2 A’s and a B.

I know CS transfers require a very high gpa, and I will take as much time as it takes to raise it up

I still need all my major prerequisites, so if I get all As in those and in my math courses can I possibly get into UCLA or should I just not even bother?

You’re just starting out. There’s no way to know. Just keep up the good grades. One C is not the end of the world.

You definitely need a higher GPA than that if your aim is UCLA.But since youre just started its perfectly ok to screw up a bit at the beginning. In fact it seems like you are on an improving track, which the UC’s will very much be impressed by.For a major like CS I doubt a C in a English class matter that much.
