This may be a dumb question. If schools don’t require AP/Subject Test scores but you choose to self report them on the Common App, do you still have to have official score reports sent to confirm? I want my AP and Subject Test scores to be considered for admission, but sending official reports to every school starts to add up money-wise. Is just self-reporting them okay?
Do I still have to send official AP/SAT Subject Test scores if I self-report them on the Common App?
Most schools do not require that you submit an AP Score Report unless you are admitted. Some schools require you submit subject tests scores. You should look at the policy on the schools website. You should self-report all the scores on the Common App. As a general rule, if they don’t require it just self report it, but check the website.
