Do I "technically" have to report a scholarship coming directly to me

@dragon90 Thank you. I thought I was "closing " the thread by my comment above, but alas.

@twoinanddone I never asked if I would receive my ws as a refund??? I never asked if I would receive a refund as a whole. I am well aware of how ws works. The whole problem here was if I had to report a scholarship that would almost definitely reduce my grants. I say almost definitely because other people at my college says different things, but they never seem to take in account my specific grant. I can go on and try explaining this, but honestly you are not who I should be talking to.

Thanks for the advice you was able to give me, but I feel there is little else to be said.

@CTTC I would normally say that’s creepy because I never really said my college on here. But, I did have posts. Reminds me why I don’t do social media.

*I mean no offense, I’m not trying to say you’re creepy or anything when I know things can be connected via posts, but still *

Im thinking a moderator or whatever has to close the thread. My question was answered sufficiently.

You can’t ask to have a thread closed. Many times the question that a thread asks is good information for others.

Given that you are supposed to report it, why not email the college FA office and ask how it would affect your specific package, then decide if you want to give it back to the HS rather than accept it, which sounds like what you want to do if the college absorbs it.

@CottonTales Oh, okay. That makes sense! I definitely feel this thread was helpful to me and it may be helpful to others. At first I was wondering why you could not close a thread. That’s a good explanation.

MODERATOR’S NOTE:

I’m thinking the same as well. Closing thread.
