<p>It seems to be a grey area - the Science form is required specifically for Physics, Chem, Eng and Comp Sci majors. They are silent on Bio, Math, and any of the interdiscpinary majors like yours.</p>
<p>yea, I asked them. biochem majors are expected to fill out the form, since their major includes chemistry.</p>
<p>Interesting. I wrote to them, but got a slightly different response:</p>
<p>"It is not required that you write the extra statement for biochemistry, but it is optional. You may find it useful as you attempt to give us a complete picture of your academic interests."</p>
<p>oh great. now I dont know whether I have to write it... hmph. why cant they just be consistent?!</p>
