Do Illinois State Scholars receive any $?

My daughter is an ISAC Illinois State Scholar. When I attended U of I in the 1980s, the State gave us $500 a semester (or year?). Does the State of Illinois provide any financial award now or is the Illinois State Scholar just an honorary award? TIA.

I don’t think so, unfortunately. If you look at the copy of the letter to finalists at
http://www.isac.org/isac-gift-assistance-programs/state-scholar-program/media/1718-Congrat-Letter.pdf

Nope, sorry

Source: Was an ISS, no money from the state.

Yes, but unfortunately the kids were notified they were ISS after college apps were already done for the November 1 deadline!

You would think a school could at least recognize the achievement with $500 book stipend or something
