Do In state transfers get accepted before out of state transfers?

I just wanted to know if in state transfer students are accepted before out of state transfer students or is it first come first serve?

Also, do I have a good chance at being accepted? Let me know what you think!!!

( I am in state with a 3.2 gpa and 30 transferable credits)

I'm hoping it's first come first serve since I'm an OOS transfer for fall 09, hah... I'd like to know as soon as possible if I'm going to be moving across the country. I notice you posted this a week ago, have you called and asked them since then?

Oh and I'd say you're 100% in. I'm sure you already know it in the back of your mind but you don't want to jinx yourself by saying it, so there ya go. :)

The reason I asked is because I am applying for the spring 09 semester ( I know it's a bit late) and I am pulling my hair waiting for an answer. I called the office of undergraduate admissions and they said my application was complete and now in review. He also said from here on it could take from 2 weeks to 2 MONTHS (AHHHHHHHHHHH). I just wanted to scream but I didnt. I think I have to calm down lol but thanks for your reassurance
VJH86. I hope you get your answer soon as well!

Oh man, 2 months?! Well, at least it seems like most people get an answer before then (amongst the people posting on this board, anyway). And thanks, I hope I get an answer soon too.

I GOT IN!!! yay!!!

Aah yay! Congrats! :)
